Kath was a Member for approximately 60 years,an extremely knowledgeable Gardener. She gave many Presentations to our Village Produce Association. Her entries in our Competitions were always of a Very High Standard. Always willing to help others, she served on so many Committees and Volunteered willingly in many areas with her Charitable work. She had a very big, kind heart and was an inspiration in her attitude to adversity.

Nesta was part of a “Wicked,Mischievous Foursome”,along with Hazel Watkins,Wendy Jones and the late Veronica Kirby! They all enjoyed a bit of fun and humour and were guaranteed to spread this amongst other Members at our events. If you were in their Company ,you would go home with a smile on your face!

Nesta’s family were very big supporters and a Mainstay of our children’s classes at our Annual Members Show for many years. Along with Nesta’s own entries enhancing various classes.Along with Husband Mostyn, to whom we offer our Heartfelt Condolences, they were a very Bright Shining light at our events.

Indeed I had the pleasure last December of sitting at their table, enjoying our Christmas Lunch and Party.A good few smiles and Laughs were shared  amongst us. Even though Nesta had defied Logic, being so Brave in her very serious ill health to attend.

I feel very Honoured to have met these Ladies, who enhanced so many other peoples lives! Rest in Peace you have earned it!
