Seats Available on two Outings

We have seats available on two different Outings.The first is on Wednesday 23rd May to “Oakham Treasures”,a place which features an amazing collection of artefacts.We depart from the old Mardy PO at 9:30 hours,leaving Oakham at 16:00 hrs.Their are other pick up points available,please speak to our Social Secretary,Hazel Watkins:- 01873  855775 to book a place. Cost including admission is £18,you can purchase meals at Oakham from a varied Menu if you wish. Oakham is situated not far over the new Severn Bridge on the outskirts of Bristol.

On Wednesday 4th July departing from same place at 09:30 hrs and visiting St Fagans Folk Museum, we leave their at 16:00hrs. A Vast amount of money has been spent upgrading this National Place of Interest in a very important year in it’s history.There are four choices of eating venues available at St Fagans.The cost of this trip is£12,again Book with Hazel on the telephone number above.

Jack Willgoss Excellent presentation

               Last night we had the pleasure of A Presentation on Viola’s by Jack Willgoss , who along with his wife owns “Wildegoose Nursery and Garden near Munslow, Shropshire.SY7 9HE His knowledge on the origins of these plants was marvellous,accompanied by some beautiful photographs.Their were numerous invaluable tips on getting the best out of these various species.His nursery has a vast range of choices available.

There was quite a rush to buy some wonderfully grown plants in the Interval !We really appreciate the long Journey he took to attempt to Educate Us !! Thank You
